Get ready for the Adventure Moto Six Day Ride (Big Bore Ride), an epic 6-day, 7-night journey through the stunning landscapes of NSW. 2200kms of pure adventure, starting in Pokolbin, winding through the Southern Highlands and finishing up in beautiful Wollongong.

BYO bike - big, small, as long as it’s got two wheels and a rego, it’s good to go! We’ll be cruising on easy-flowing trails that are perfect for riders of all skill levels (as long as you’ve got a bit of dirt riding experience). You’ll get to hang out with riding legends Adam Reimann from Motology Films and Llewelyn Pavey from Brake Magazine and pick their brains about all things adventure biking. Riders from NZ and further afield will also be joining us (if you’re one of these, you’ll have to sort your own bike here in Aus).

 

What’s On The Agenda?

 

Day 1: May 3rd Rydges Hunter Valley
Your journey starts at Rydges Hunter Valley, where we’ll have a safety briefing followed by a delicious dinner with friends old and new.

 

Day 2: May 4th Rydges Hunter Valley > Bathurst

The adventure officially begins! Day 2 kicks off with a ride through the forestry. From there, we’ll carve our way down through the charming towns of Wollombi and Laguna before a quick run up the iconic Murray’s Run, heading towards the historic Wisemans Ferry.

Once we cross the ferry, we’ll take in the scenic roads of Bilpin. After a brief stretch on the highway up to Lithgow, we’ll switch gears and hit some fantastic backroads, setting us up for a thrilling loop that leads straight into Bathurst.

The day ends with a victory lap around the Mount Panorama circuit.

 

Day 3: May 5th Bathurst > Goulburn

Leaving Bathurst, we cut through the open road to Oberon. The rolling hills and wide-open spaces set the stage for what’s to come as we push further into the heart of the adventure.

As we reach Oberon, the landscape begins to shift—we’ll plunge into the forest, navigating winding trails that snake their way towards Crookwell. After a break, we press on through some of the most stunning and rugged landscapes to Goulburn.

 

Day 4: May 6th Goulburn > Tumut

Get ready for a big one! Today’s journey spans nearly 420 kilometres, packed with incredible roads, stunning scenery and a well-deserved stop at a legendary bakery in Braidwood.

The final stretch is a rider's paradise, with a perfect blend of twisty roads, forestry sections and panoramic views that will keep your spirits high all the way to Tumut.

It’s a marathon day, but one that promises to be unforgettable, filled with everything that makes adventure riding awesome!

 

Day 5: May 7th Tumut > Cooma

We head towards the rugged beauty of the Brindabellas, winding our way through this serene area, before we drop down towards Canberra and around Lake Cotter.

From there, you can make a stop at the Canberra Space Station—a unique highlight on our route—before continuing our journey into the expansive Namadgi National Park. The day concludes with a stunning ride into the historic town of Cooma, where we’ll settle in for the night.

 

Day 6: May 8th Cooma > Jindabyne

We kick off day 6 with a ride from Cooma towards the coast, passing through the charming town of Nimmitabel. Then, we'll hit the picturesque village of Candelo, where the scenery changes as we ride deeper into the forests towards Bombala.

After a brief stop in Bombala, we’ll shift gears and head back north before turning west, riding through some truly breathtaking landscapes as we make our way into the Jindabyne for the night to unwind.

 

Day 7:  May 9th Jindabyne > Wollongong

Day 7 starts with cruising through backroads that lead us back to Cooma for a quick refuel. Then we hit some truly epic tracks, navigating the vast landscape towards Captains Flat before heading back to Braidwood for one last fuel and pie!

The final leg of the journey involves the twisty roads to Woollongong. Here, we’ll gather for a celebratory final dinner and a chance to relive all the awesome memories made along the way!
