Seat Concepts seats are constructed using a foam material that is a much higher quality than OEM seat foam.
Their proprietary formula provides a more plush and active ride, while still offering the necessary amount of support. Their unique comfort shape maintains a similar contour to stock at the front of the seat so the rider's legs are not spread farther apart, but tapers out towards the mid-point to distribute rider weight over a greater area.
These features combine to offer a custom seat feel, and provide greater enjoyment and increased range on a long commute, or Dual-Sport ride!

best after market purchase for this bikeBy: Greg Rowntree on 6 August 2019I cant believe how much more enjoyable this seat makes the bike to ride. I rode all day without getting a sore arse, with the other seat I could not ride for more than a couple of hours without having to stand all the time with a sore butt. A definite must purchase if you are riding a DR650, adventure riding, and sitting on that seat that resembles a cricket bat all day. Get one. It will be a different bike.

DR650 backside saverBy: Mark Pendall on 10 July 2018I purchased the foam and cover kit for the dr650. Besides having to wait a considerable time (which i believe to be Seat Concepts fault) i finally got the product. Installation was easy and the final result looked amazing. I got the standard height in all carbon look. I used to be able to ride for about an hour or so before the slab of concrete that was the standard seat would start to cause irritation in the buttock and spinal region. Now with the seat concepts foam and cover, i can ride all day with no dramas what so ever. Also being a vertically challeged lad, the cut of their foam is awesome. Still narrow enough at the front to keep your feet at the same place as the stock seat and the middle to rear portion is maybe an inch wider providing more comfort and support for the backside. Highly recommend this product. Makes it soo much more comfortable.

Seat Concepts vs OEM Suzuki brickBy: Frank Derris on 22 February 2017If you ride a Suzuki DR650SE you know the stock seat is about as comfortable as a granite bench. So I purchased the Seat Concepts standard with carbon sides and gripper top. I can now ride for hours whereas before 1 hour on the brick had me squirming. I can now use the bike as intended for hours and days on end cruising down the road / trail. After the free carb mods this is the smartest money spent on my DR!
