The Toucan's unique buckle design is pulled straight from Alpinestars' dirt boots and helps to shed dirt and mud while maintaining a low profile to minimise the likelihood of damage to the buckle or your bike.

Quality Boots!By: Jason Fuller on 30 August 2018I had a pear of Forma Boots which lasted me for 45klm's on rides which included the Flinders Rangers as well across Australia & plenty more. The Forma Boots are very comfortable, extremely light & are of a very high standard. Me personally, I felt I wanted a boot that offered more protection especially around the ankles. The Alpinestar Toucan provides exactly that! They are a little heavier than the Forma, but they feel more solid around your foot & ankle which is what I was looking for. They are not as stiff as a full MX boot & are still great to walk around in which is what you want in an Adventure Boot! If your Adventure Riding is taking you into some heavy off road situations then these boots are great!
