Moto-Skiveez Adventure Short
The ADVENTURE style Moto-Skiveez® are developed for a riding position where the knee drops over the seat and below the hip joint.
This riding position places additional weight bearing and pressure in the area of the inner thighs/upper groin. The ADVENTURE style is optimized to reduce chafing in this area.
Recommended motorcycles for this style are both modern dual sport and classic motorcycle as well as many modern sport touring motorcycles. This design functions best for any riding style where you may experience discomfort in the inner thigh region as well as the main seating area.
The Moto-Skiveez® pad for the ADVENTURE style is the most complex of all Moto-Skiveez designs.
It is comprised of a base malinga cloth, three different types of foam and a silver ion infused covering.
This pad is engineered to provide comfort and functionality for a multitude of riding styles. This pad is designed for the rider to move from seating to standing and shift from forward to rearward on the seat.
The padding in the seating area of this design has multiple densities formed with both concave and convex elliptical curves. This feature provides added comfort as the rider moves forward and back.
One of its primary functions is to provide comfort for long hours adventure-touring, testing the abilities of the modern dual sport motorcycle to corner at high lean angles as well as ride off road.
Additionally this design features two padded extensions, positioned on the inner thigh of each leg. These extensions have vertical padded ribs with ventilation openings. This is to counteract friction and chafing from repeated standing and seating experienced by aggressive off road riding.
Features:
- Surface Fabric infused with silver ions for permanent antimicrobial, antibacterial treatment
- 4mm square perforated foam throughout. 6mm memory foam main body. 3mm perforated memory foam in legs
- Both convex and concave corrugations with vertical ribs impede irritation

Not as good as Seat Concepts Seat, but makes a sigBy: Craig Hendrie on 23 May 2021I thought I'd give the Moto-Skiveez Adventure Short a go before the more expensive option of a Seat Concepts Seat. I ride a Husqvarna 701 Enduro, which doesn't have the worst seat around, but comfort would be an issue on a long trip. The Moto-Skiveez are comfortable to wear. It didn't take long to adjust to the "wearing a nappy feeling" (which is probably good news for when we end up wearing incontinence pants, in an Aged Care Facility down the track......LOL!). I found that on a 2 hour ride, I was able to sit comfortably without lifting my bum for periods 2 - 3 times longer than when not wearing the Moto-Skiveez. I hardly developed any numbness in the nether regions. I've previously had a Seat Concepts Seat on my WR250R, and I would rate these pants at 40 - 50% of the improvement a Seat Concepts Seat would make. So, I expect that they will be good for maybe a 2 or 3 day ride. Longer than that and I reckon I will fork out the big bucks!

Comfy, good qualityBy: Khan Wyman on 22 October 2019Good fit, good quality and seem to stay in place. Thin but effective padding does a pretty good job of managing the 'normal-with-padded-jocks' issue of making you feel like you're wearing nappies. Recommended.

Sore bum?By: Bob Drakeford on 12 February 2018Why not try the Moto Skiveez underwear for your specific ride? I did! I have suffered a sore bum after short rides, forcing many stops. I even purchased a new Triumph Explorer 1200 XCA looking for that comfort. While the bike choice helped, the Moto Skiveez underwear added to my longevity in the saddle. I have doubled my saddle time, but sore butt is still evident. I suppose you have to give the bum a rest every now and then. Moto Skiveez underwear are expensive, but worth a try as everyone is different in the saddle. Good riding fellow bikers, and stay safe!

versatile and comfortableBy: Philip Kern on 16 January 2018After a lot of research, I bought a pair of what looks like very expensive padded underwear. Having come from the world of (bi)cycling, I had already tried padded biking shorts. I also was experimenting with high tech underwear, UnderArmour Heat Gear, and other options to see what worked best for me. Lots of them were ok, but none offered the complete package. So I kept looking and reading. It seemed like every discussion of big mileage touring and/or adventure bike riding, at some point, included comments about these. So I had a go. My reactions: a) feels weird to walk around with something this big plastered to your backside, b) seems to put the padding where you need it, c) fit is good, and the material does a good job of wicking perspiration, d) legs aren't too long, and don't have a gripper cuff, yet do a good job of staying where they belong. I don't wear them every time I ride--or even most times. But when I'm gearing up for a trip, they are top of the list.

they helpBy: doug rule on 6 March 2017Very happy with these, they where a pre-purchase before the seat concepts seat (that will be my next purchase)! Made 300klm on a standard WR seat just bearable.
